I started writing this post when I was fresh of holiday mode and the morale was on an all-time high. Many things has happened since; my husband and I have started ONE more venture (just to throw some more stress into the mix) and I’ve had quite a few ups and downs with my already existing business. All while trying to balance home life, friends, work and living a healthy lifestyle. Uhh..yeah! It’s not a piece of cake.
I went on my first backpacking experience and it was totally body-mind-soul changing. My friends laughed when I told them I was buying a backpack and going with 2 experienced backpackers to Sri Lanka. “You’re doing what this summer?!” was most people’s reaction. I go to Africa once a year, what do you mean? Apparently that’s not the same..and it wasn’t.
What a lazy week I’ve had! I haven’t been back to the gym and my diet slipped a little with baby bro visiting. Now that Easter is over and life goes back to normal, so does the routine. I am not a person of routine but I’ve realized it helps me stay in track and I am one of those people who just need it in my life. I am still trying to get into the habit of eating breakfast every morning and go to bed at the same time most nights.
That just sounds so boring! I like to think that I am spontaneous and if a girlfriend calls me at 9 pm to meet for a drink, I will most likely turn up. That’s just how I have always been. I like the excitement and it doesn’t hurt when your husband doesn’t like ANYTHING planned. I mean nothing! Last minute New Years Eve plans are the standard. It has made me plan even less and go with the flow 100% (he’d say I go with it 50%)
This is a big week for us at the coffee shop as well as my online company Petit Regalo! We are launching a guerrilla street campaign which if you follow me on Snapchat you’ll have the pleasure of following live. (SNAPCHAT: lifestylingit) and there are a few celebs popping over this week so stay tuned for fun snaps and instagram posts :)
Have a happy, healthy & fun filled week <3
Good morning beauties. Since I’ve last posted in September, I have been traveling a lot and working my butt off. I took a little hiatus from the blogging in order to focus on my business and health. However, I am realizing I am missing this part of my life :)
Since then, life has been pretttty busy. I’ve traveled to Miami, Jamaica, Luxembourg, New York and Amsterdam. Next stops are London and Norway in the next couple of months.
I always knew traveling was going to be a huge part of my life as I enjoy it so much. Having the luxury of being my own boss and creating my own working hours (aka staying motivated) definitely helps in that respect.
I’ve decided to continue to keep you all entertained with my expat life in Barcelona and adventures that come with being an entrepreneur (and the down sides) and a peek into the new healthy lifestyle I am trying to live. #OperationSkinnyLinny
Wow guys, I know, I totally fell off the face of the earth.
Sometimes life gets in the way and I haven’t been on point with my posting lately, apologies to all my loyal readers :)
Since you’ve last heard from me I’ve been traveling to super fun places and will update it all in my PinkPassport section coming up in the next few weeks.
Christmas is quickly approaching, a new year and a fresh start. I’m one of those people who love to make new years resolutions and think that I will stick to it. It usually doesn’t work out that way but at least I try.
What are your new year resolutions for 2016?
One of mine is to post about my latest adventures…Can you guess where?
Hey Guys! Are you planning a move to Barcelona? Perhaps, you are already living here, new to the city and curious how fellow expats perceive life in Catalunya?
Check out my most recent interview with Gabriela from “How To Feel Like A Catalan” about life in Barcelona & my impression of the people and culture here!
I admit it! *thow-my-hands-up* I am a foodie! I love spending money on good food and experiences, so I was delighted when WithLocals asked me on a dinner date to test out new hosts in Barcelona.
Ah, Roma! One of my favorite places in the world. It holds so many childhood memories and being back there even just for a weekend was enough to evoke nostalgia. I got to spend time with friends I’ve known for almost 20 years (wowza, I’m getting old) and wandered the old streets where we used to get into lots of mischief.
